LISTEN Unusual bird (parrot) noises. Vocalizations or repetitive talking/counting. He will be loudest EARLY morning before and shortly after sunrise, and in the evening. If heard while perched in a tree, please talk to him while calling the owner. Call his family immediately – no matter what time of day or night.

He will most likely perch high in the trees, but has been spotted on the ground when coming down for food and water. Opus has been seen near Parks, Trails and Creeks along these areas. He seems to be roosting overnight in neighborhoods near the last sightings at night where he feels safer from predators. Most likely venturing some in each direction and revisiting prior recent areas.
Please see Opus’ page on facebook for more information and latest sightings.
