I have two conures that I have for four years. And recently sometime two weeks ago, someone broke in our house and stole them.
***Both conures are four years old and both have a leg ring/leg band.
They both are male and wings are clipped although it has grown partly. Both are attracted to food and especially water. The two birds are inseparable. If they are separated from each other, loud, continuously screeching will occur. Nipping/biting may occur too.***
-One bird is named, Rico. He is a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure. He is able to fly although wings are clipped. He has a slim body. He has been known to perch on strangers. Below is a picture of him. If you hold him, he may fly away with no problems. He was bought from PetPlus for $400 when he was three months.-

-The other is named Sunny. He is a Sun Conure. He is afraid to fly. Maybe a bit chubby too. He was last seen with a hurt leg. Below is a picture of him. If you hold him, he will grip on your finger hard and may seem heavy. He may try/attempt to fly away. He is not able to fly very well. He was bought in PetPlus for $600 when he was
3-5 months old.-

***The house they were stolen from is currently being raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. North Elberon Ave street. The stairs to come in the house is built, meaning someone can easily break in at night unnoticed. Both birds were in good condition (Sun Conure has injured leg but he’s fine) since we last saw him which was days before they were found stolen. We miss them dearly as they weren’t considered just pets, they we considered as family. We had them for four years now and are beyond sad.***
