Responds to whistling. Might respond to “Birdie,” “Come here,” or “Bye-bye.” Won’t fly to but loves socks, stuffed animals. Seems to prefer dark-haired males. Likes millet, Cheerios, seed, corn. Not very friendly to strangers and you’ll likely have a hard time approaching him. If you grab him he will bite. Best to lure him into a box or cage.
