Our two male cockatiels, Dusty and Butters are LOST. Our son broke our safety protocol at 7:30pm and they got out via the side garage door. We all ran outside after them and they were in trees in our neighbor’s yard but ended up separated and frantically calling for each other.
They are mature, deeply bonded, strong flyers and their first priority tomorrow at sunrise will be finding each other. They are extremely well socialized and will fly down and land on any human and can then be secured with your hands over their wings or under your shirt and immediately brought indoors. Dusty is banded and has solid grey on the back of his head, Butters has mottled yellow and grey on the back of his head.
They respond to Dustybird, Butters, Butterbeer, Pretty bird, Baby bird, Hey, pretty bird, whatca doing pretty bird, Crazy Australians.
