Lovebird (unbanded?) seen in Lake Balboa at Haynes and Lasaine May 24 approx. 6pm. He is flying around, seems very tame, chirping and looking for food from humans – he came down to me from a telephone pole when I held my arm out but I was unable to catch him. He flew away in a northern direction towards Louise and Sherman Way. He seems very tired. He drank water. Cross posted to Facebook San Fernando Valley Lost and Found Pets and to Nextdoor. If you are in the San Fernando Valley area and see this bird on a wire or a telephone pole AND you hold out your arm and talk to him he will fly down near you.
