I’m missing my Hahns. I saw a post and thought this was him. It wasn’t. This guy was in Carlsbad, Ca. He doesn’t appear to be able to fly far or high. His flight feathers look like they were clipped. He isn’t comfortable being handled, although he does calm down fairly quickly. (maybe because we’re strangers). I just didn’t feel good leaving him there knowing he can’t fly very well. He could be a pet or he could be a wild parrot (we do have those here) I will keep and feed him for a few days and then get him checked out to see if it’s fair to release him or where he can stay in the meantime.
He’s green with red on the outside of his wing when he flys. Beautiful bird.
