Found parrot in Huntsville Al. The day following the tornado outbreak in north Alabama, a local citizen found and recaptured a lost parrot. This bird was surrendered to Huntsville Animal Services, who in turn, relinquished it to PARS. This is a very young parrot who was obviously someones loved and well cared for companion. We are, of course, putting out notices by the usual means in an attempt to reunite this little one with his companion family but have had no luck to date in the local area. However, we also realize that this bird could have escaped from a home many miles from here if it ran ahead of the storms. We are asking that during your activities on the internet, should you come across an advertisement for a parrot lost in this region or an individual claiming to have lost one during the storms, please ask them to contact me at [macawman {AT} parrotsr4ever.com. Thanks for anything you can do to help us get this little one home.
