I finally heard from the owner. Unfortunately that does not resolve this. The woman called me after seeing my flyer. She was very happy that I had found the bird and she lives next door to where the bird was found. She said she had been gone since Wed and just returned today to find it gone. She was about to put up signs when she saw my flyer and called. I arranged to bring the bird to her, but when I got there she asked me if I wanted to keep it. She said her husband did not want the bird and it would cause problems between them. I agreed to find a good home for it.
