As crazy as this sounds, we determined that the bird we claimed was not ours! This past week we were reunited with our Ozzie because of the diligence of another Placerville person. Ozzie was found on a bridge in El Dorado…. After careful scutiny of our single photo of Ozzie and the description of the 2nd bird’s behavior by this good samaritan, I felt convinced that this was in fact our bird. Both birds were found in fairly close proximity to one another…. Now, I have placed an entry in the bird alert website, hoping we can find this little guy’s family.
