I rescued a domestic king pigeon in the city last night, i’m not sure where she came from, but she had pink stuff smeared on her back. maybe a wedding? she was obviously domestic, because she couldn’t fly well and kept slamming into the side of the building. she’s home with me now, resting well, perching and munching on sunflower seeds. she’s calm and comfortable. can you advise me on the best course of action moving forward? i can’t keep her long term, because i don’t have an aviary or any room to build one, unfortunately. she’s in a decent-sized dog kennel right now. please advise. thank you so much for all you do. i love these little guys.
