  • Species: Cockatiel (See species list for details)
  • Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, United States 37923
  • Date Found: July 14, 2011
  • Banded: No

This Cockatiel appears to be a younger male – pearl grey in color with a yellow white head and orange cheek patches.
He at this time does not seem to like to be handled, but this could be because he has been out awhile as his claws need trimming, and he does not seem to have the “hang” of being in a cage; doesn’t seem to know how to get around. He does want to socialize as he has started to chirp at me as I sit nearby doing office work. He does not appear to have “speech”. He was found in the area of Robinson Road and Rising Fawn. I will try to keep him for awhile, but otherwise he will be taken to the local shelter for adoption.
