I’m trying as many avenues as I can to find this bird’s original owner.
Found a lovebird on our property in the Forest Hills neighborhood on Tuesday, September 12th. We are located near Forest hills drive and North blvd… in Tampa, FL. No ankle bracelet/band.
Luckily we are bird people (we have a small conure) and have the travel cage set up for this little guy in the meantime, with the right bird food. He’s obviously a lost pet because he seemed to be okay with me handling him and he likes the toys that I put in the cage.
He’s eaten and drank lots of water since we brought him inside and he’s fluffy and happy at the moment. Hope we can find the owner soon, but I have no idea how long he’s been out and about.
