All-white budgie of indeterminate age and gender was spotted in and around Cold Spring, NY, for about two days before being rescued on a rainy night (Aug. 6). It is currently being cared for in the village. We’d like to find the owner, if any exists. It could have been loose for some time and come some distance before ending up in Cold Spring. It does not talk and or even chirp much. An avian vet who examined in on Aug. 7 says it is in generally decent health, as far as we know so far; further medical test results are pending.
