Provide pics of you with your parakeet, ID that you live on my block & I’ll gladly give him or her back. Very depressed & sits in the corner of the cage, with its back turned without moving. It doesn’t even perch on any of the 2 perch sticks, just remains on the cage floor & tries to hide under the feeder, or in a corner!! It breaks my heart, I just want to see it happy again. I fed it some bird seeds, organic cucumber, organic red lettuce & water. I don’t want it to get an upset stomach, from changing its feed, please come pick up your bird, it’s sad, lonely & misses you! It also doesn’t chirp at all or fly very much or very high! Is it sick & dying? It was found just before sunset.
