My husband found this bird on the curb of a bush highway in Shrewsbury. We took him to the Monmouth County SPCA where he was held for 7 days before being released for adoption after not being claimed. We chose to formally adopt him, so he is now living comfortably in our home, in a big cage with lots of toys, food, and treats. I wanted to update the original post I made here about him, but there was no option to edit it. He is banded and very affectionate so far.
