Sighted in San Francisco (Potrero Hill) yesterday, Hi there, A large, gorgeous red and blue bird that I’m guessing was a parrot landed on my neighbor’s sidewalk planter yesterday around 7:30 pm near Carolina Street and 22nd (photo attached). While it was hugely exciting for my kids to see such a magnificent bird close up, I’m guessing that this bird belongs to someone and might be lost. It flew off heading west and we haven’t seen it since, but if someone is searching for their lost bird the information on the time and place of this sighting might be helpful.
