A cockatiel was sighted on the NE corner of TerramarSt & Breakers Ave this evening, It was eating grass on a patch of lawn. Some people told me that the bird has been in that vicinity for several days. I sprinkled some bird seed on the lawn for it. We tried to catch it but it flew away to a nearby roof. I’m not good at distinguishing cockatiel types, but my guess is that it was a “normal grey”. It did not seem fearful of people & was obviously someone’s pet.
