I saw a VERY GREEN bird in a tree outside of a residence by my daughter’s school about 45mins. after sunup. I observed ONLY the back of this VERY LARGE parrot, so I am not exact on any details. BUT through process of elimination, it MUST be an Amazon species because of the size of its tail (or any other similar species!). (By the way, its body shape reminded me exactly of an African Gray.)
My sighting was brief, for I was driving by as a passenger in a car; however, I used to own a sweet Senegal Parrot & I KNOW that I saw somebody’s baby this morning. He/She was facing SE & looked scared but also very tired.
