Beautiful black and white pigeon, larger than a wild Rock Dove or a Mourning Dove. Has a banded leg. Seems unafraid of people. I tossed it some wild bird seed and it stayed around and ate it, letting me get fairly close. I didn’t try to touch it or chase it. It only flew away when the neighbor’s dogs were let out.
If this is your bird, and it will come to you or to a carrier, you may have a chance of catching it again. My neighbor said she saw it a day or two ago. I just saw it minutes ago.
