Pet bird found (Wilshire Drive and Rembrandt Way)

I found a pet bird yesterday on the sidewalk around Wilshire Drive and Rembrandt Way in Fitchburg. I think it is a finch, it has beautiful white and periwinkle feathers, and had a tag around it’s ankle. It is very calm and not afraid of people and did not seem to be injured.
The bird is now at the Dane County Human Society.
