Bopo is a very funny, somewhat neurotic, talkative jokester who took flight a couple of day ago when startled. He popped up about a half mile from home and stuck around for about an hour or so. He then took flight again and has not been seen since.

He’s a fully feathered, statuesque shining example of a male in his prime. He’s very vocal, with words, sentences, sound effects, whistles and normal bird sounds. He fully socialized, though cautious when introduced to new people. He steps up, but will usually take a feel at a finger, sometimes gentle, sometimes with pressure. He rarely bites hard, but he can. He shows a fear towards hands and will not allow his head or beak to be touched. He will allow you to stroke his back so long as you ask (‘wanna tickle-tickle?’). You’re then allowed to very slowly stroke his back once or twice. He will generally respond “tickle-tickle, ohhhh!”.

He’s a good flyer, but not a strong one. Favorite foods are apple, which he’ll ask for by name, cashews and shelled peanuts, which he rarely eats, but loves to shred.

Favorite sound effects: “Pretty Boy”, blowing a raspberry, “Tickle, Tickle”, “Fat Bird”, “No Bad Bopo”, “Don’t Bite”, “Bopo’s a Good Bird” and a strange ‘I Love Lucy’ type moan sounding something like ‘whaaaaaaaoi’.

If he’s fairly close to the ground he might step onto a long stick so long as it is slender and you move slowly.
