Rookie is a grey cockatiel with white markings on the wings, stripes on the chest and tail, red blush marks, and a yellow and grey crest. She does not talk, but does do the wolf whistle, except that she doesn’t really do it properly, she does the first half a dozen times and then the second half once. She’s very friendly. She will step onto your finger if you hold it out. If you’re eating she will fly over and try to eat off your plate / out of your mouth. She’s terrified of wind chimes, and scared of insects. She likes it when you whisper to her. Hates her toes or tail being touched.
