Grayson is an African Grey Congo (bright red tail). He is friendly but hesitant. He likes to repeat the Addams Family theme song (by whistling). He makes chicken clucking noises, sometimes meows like a cat.
He flew out the door (unlike him) and unfortunately, during this pandemic, his wings have gone a bit longer unclipped. Once he flew over the houses (Wavecrest st and Burloak Dr, from the west side of Burloak over to the east side [Burlington -> Oakville]), we lost line of sight of him. We canvased for hours, notifying anybody we saw. There are two major ‘forest’ parks in the near by area but we don’t necessarily think he has the endurance to fly long distances.
We tried going every which side street, all the paths of the forest, playing African Grey sounds and calling his name but we could not locate him. It is going near 0 tonight so we’re extremely worried. He is also very friendly with dogs so we’re hoping he doesn’t try to ‘make friends’ with Coyote, which have been known to terrorize the area.
Please contact 647-866-0272 if you have heard or seen him. We’ve done our best to notify certain Facebook groups, the SPCA and Kijiji.
Will provide his partial band number soon.
