Hello, it’s with great sadness I am on this site . I answered an add on kijiji for a 3/4 month old baby love bird . My mother went all the way to the upper Sherman& ruby area to purchase him. Soon as the ppl opened the door they had a tiny box …. My mother too had a carrier…. They said they had lost a few baby birds from this clutch to flying away. As they said that with no warning they opened the box on the porch… I assume to transfer carriers…. Long story short as soon as the box opened out the little guy flew 🙁 . I am uncertain if it was male or female as they didn’t know … Not banded or chipped….I am so sad he flew off as arey little ones who expected a new pet. It’s getting chilly here and I just hope it’s found and taken in out of the cold!!!
He’s 3 or 4 months old light gray and pale yellow with a blueish tail. He was hand fed but still skiddish….. And obviously his feathers are in tact ( not clipped) or I wouldn’t be in this situation . Please If found contact me @ free_me_now@hotmail.com
