URGENT – Congo African Grey lost late this afternoon (4pm,JAN 03/15) in Denver, Colorado, near crossroads of Acoma and 10th St. (Golden Triangle area).
A customer bringing their bird to The Birdbrain for grooming did not have carrier for the bird. It became spooked and flew away. It is snowing tonight and cold.

If found, put her in dry, towel-lined box or dog/cat crate. Put heating pad under crate. Offer small dish of water. If wet and/or cold, dry her with blow dryer on medium. She will likely be severely cold and in need of vet support ASAP. She will be extremely stressed. She can be offered some Pedialyte room temp or water mixed 1cup/2tsp agave, even diluted orange or apple juice. She will use an enormous amount of energy to try to keep warm which is very stressful and dangerous for her, especially in these temps, snow and wind.
