Hello, I am reaching out to you bc yesterday our beautiful African Senegal Parrot, Lucy, who we adopted from the FL Parrot Rescue , slipped out a cracked door and flew away. We adopted her on February 3rd of last year. She does not have her wings clipped and she weighs about 132 grams at her last vet visit. She is now 6 years old, as her birthday is 1/3/2008. We are desperate to find her and have posted flyers, contacted vets, spoken wih neighbors and now contacting you just in case anyone alerts your organization. Her gender is unknown but we think she is male an she prefers female handlers. She likes to get head rubs and will bend her head for hem. She is rather quiet but does have a large vocabulary. She knows how to step up and has been flying in her bird room for some time now. She is sweet and gentle and likes to say “Hey Birdie!” We miss her and are remaining diligent in searching for her. Please call me at your earliest chance. My fiancĂ©e is Anton Abousaid and my name is Stacy Hazlip. We can be reached at 727-253-7481 or 727-385-9700. Thank you for your help!
Stacy
