Lost in Valley area of Juneau,Alaska Oct 3,2013. Moe flew away from my home at SPrucewood Park and headed towards Glacier Cinemas/Cinema Dr on Oct 3.
Moe is a friendly bird that knows how to “step up”. He will sit on your hand,arm or shoulder and ride round,but does not like to be touched. His favorite treats are freeze dried Raspberries,millet,cashews,fresh apples and broccoli.
Someone had reported seeing a bird with a hooked bill the day after flying from the duplex homes on Park Place (near Riverside Rotary Park) along the trail that leads to Chinook Apartments on Cinema Dr. I searched for days with no luck in this area.
He was last seen Oct 8th on Teslin St flying towards the Catholic church/Superbear area. He is most likely within a 1-2 mile radius of this location.
There is a $500 reward for his safe return. Please help me find my Moe-moe,I am devastated and miss him more than words can say.
