I lost my beloved cockatiel yesterday. Me and my boyfriend put a bird net all around our back deck so he and other friends can hang out there under the sun. But he managed to escape from there and flew away. I am feeling devastated.
He is a lutino pearl cockatiel and his name is “POYO”. He is young adult about 11 months old. He has a pale wavy pattern around the back of his neck.
He is wearing a blue ring on his right side claw which says [# on file with 911PA]. His head and body is yellow but you could see his primary wings are grey and a couple of tales are grey as well. He sings “Three little birds” from Bob Marley. When we wistle the song, he flies back right to us.
He also can talk “Me Poyo, pico poyo and poyo my man”. He doesn’t like fingers to approach to him too close. We lost him yesterday 20/09/2011 around 1:30 pm. Our location is 71 Handford Rd, Zillmere, QLD 4034
