I found my bird. She was a few blocks away and I found her as I was whistling for her while handling out flyers door to door. Thanks for your help and your concern.

My 8 year old Green Cheek Conure flew off my shoulder as a plane flew overhead in the vicinity of Cheyenne/Blackfoot Ave 92117. Her name is Kiwi. She has never flown any distance before because her wings are always clipped but apparently not as short as they should have been. This happened around 5 PM Sunday. She will be terrified and I am heartbroken. Please call if you find her. Bob
