*** LOST: Conure “Blakely” Fresno, California 09/07/2012 ***

Blakely is a 3 year old female who is mostly green with a dark head. Her dad is a Blue Crown Conure, her mom is a Nanday Conure, and she looks and acts like a blend of the two. She is a little larger than both of them. She has a distinct walk and she is not banded because her legs were splayed as a baby and it took a long time to splint them. She is also missing a front nail that looks like it is growing upside down. She can fly even with her wings cut, but she currently has all of her flight feathers. She flew out the door Friday evening just before dusk, and was last heard at 8:30am Saturday morning in the Woodward Lake community. Her favorite food is ripe bananas, but she eats almost everything that isn’t green. She was raised with her parents so she is fluent in “bird”, but also says “hello”, “uh-oh”, makes kissing sounds, talks about how pretty she is, answers yes and no by shaking or nodding her head, meows like a neighbor’s cat, and talks in sentences that I can’t understand. But mostly she has a very loud conure screech. She steps up well, but does not come when she’s called. Please email me  if you think you have seen or heard her, even if you weren’t able to catch her.
