GEORGE or MR. GEORGE – A wonderful male Cockatiel who has lived with CERE his mate and me for the last seven years at “The Falls” condo complex in Rancho Bernardo, near the intersection of Camino Bernardo and Bernardo Center Drive. On Friday, December 09, 2011 I notice George was missing and made a thorough search for him, to no avail. I did find a small opening in a screen where he apparently escaped. The last time I saw GEORGE was the night before, where he appeared quite happy when exiting the nest where CERE had just laid an egg.GEORGE has several unique characteristics to help identify him :
1) Bright Yellow Face with “Pied” colorings.
2) Facing him, a toe nail is missing on his right claw.
3) Facing him, there is a distinctive dark line on the right side of his beak.

MR. GEORGE was a real character when placed in front of a mirror. He loved people and when the mood struck him, he would come over for a playful groom.
GEORGE was a very affectionate mate with CERE and we miss him more than words can say. Love you MR. GEORGE!
