Thanks so much for following up! Our Andy came home late yesterday afternoon. He landed in a neighborhood tree and whistled at the people in the yard. When they called to him, he landed on one of their shoulders and went into the house with them. He is very spoiled and bonded to humans.
We had placed an alert with Animal Control and the Humane Society and they gave the woman our number and we went and got him as he was happily perched in the kitchen eating cheerios, and brought him home.
I am so thankful and amazed that he managed to come home. It was my birthday yesterday and I certainly didn’t want it to be remembered as the day he left.
