Please help me find my bird – a green blue front Amazon parrot named Blue. I have had Blue over 25 years having been given him because his original owner had terminal cancer. Blue is probably about 40 years old and has had a wonderful life and travels a lot. His family consists of two humans, four cats and a dog. Blue rules the roost! He is never in his cage except if it is night or he needs a timeout. Blue does bite – very hard – when he does, but he follows me around from room to room because he loves. On Friday, June 20th between 3:30-4:00 p.m. Blue fell out of a blue truck when his cage broke free and he was last seen on the side of the road (on Rt. 295 near Normandy exit) sitting on his cage waiting for me. I called 911 and begged, they called me back almost immediately that he was seen on the side of the road on his cage waiting. I immediately returned, but he was already gone. Another observer said that two people were with him waiting for another vehicle large enough for his cage. His cage is a corner cage (3 sided), white and has a playground on top. As Blue’s rescuers are probably locals the police have been notified, as well as, www.parrotalert.com, and 911 Parrot Alert, as well as Exotic Bird Hotline. I am offering a reward so you can buy your own bird if you wish, and will give you a cage. I love my bird Blue with all my heart and need your help in finding him. To the good Samaritan who picked him up…thank you! And God for letting him be unharmed is a miracle itself. Please help me, I will come get him anywhere or anytime. I cannot stand the thought of being without my obnoxious bird, I love him so much. Blue resides in south Florida and was passing through Jacksonville on our way to South Carolina to be with my Dad during his final hours. Please help me. I love him! Kathy from West Palm Beach
