Mojo is 7 years old, loud, and friendly. She flew away after sneaking out of her cage food door. I tracked her down twice, but she had flown so high up that she was afraid to come straight down to me, and when she tried just ended up flying off scared to another tree.

She has a band around her right foot that is red on the inside and silver on the outside (she scratched away the red paint).
She had started to pluck a little bit on the front under her neck.

Neighbors that heard her described the sound as a baby deer, calf, or goat crying for its mother. She can talk – usually in a high pitch female voice and says “Hello”, “Come on”, “whats up”, “Mojo”, “uh oh” and”gimme kiss”. She makes kiss noises, and also bobs her neck up and down like an accordion when she is happy or excited. When she speaks it’s usually high pitched like a females voice. She can also meow like a cat.

She is friendly although wary of loud, overly excited people. She loves nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews), sweet potatoes, squash but will eat just about anything – including meat, and fruit (though not a big fan of most veggies).

I have spent countless hours with this bird and am completely and utterly devastated about losing her – I feel like I’ve lost a child and a piece of myself. I just want to know she is OK.
