Thank you for posting him as reunited. His owner had combed the entire complex at 4:00 am but heard nothing. He posted some flyers and also contacted the local animal hospitals. When he got home he heard a faint call that sounded like Butch. He searched his home again, but nothing. Then he realized the sound was coming from the bushes below his balcony. He went down and found Butch there, unharmed.

That’s all I know. Thank you for your help with posting. I’ve been fortunate and have never had to do so for myself, but it’s good to know the service exists. I will certainly pass on the information if I hear of a lost or found bird again. I’m currently belong to TASC bird club and I’m also the Illinois State Coordinator for AFA.

Thanks again,

Sheryl

Chunky Amazon. Talks well. Posting for friend. Butch escaped out window during storm. Does not know which direction he went. Have photo but will not let me add it. Butch does know how to step up if asked.
