Answers to Dolly and Sweet Bird; last seen in immediate area of Cecil Ave 200 block; has pretty yellow feathers on legs; likes people but is wary; will bite if frightened; will step onto a yard stick, ruler, or plastic hanger; loves cookies; very inquisitive; very active but probably becoming tired now; frightens easily at loud noises or sudden moves; likes music especially Elvis; loves peeled and cut up apple; does not have much vocabulary – but loves to say “Sweet Bird”; has a loud, repetitive call specifically for her mommy; she seems to be following some of the wild birds at times but was seen sitting on rooftops; nails need to be trimmed. Use of a yard stick holding it flat is best possible way to catch her – move it slowly towards you and you should be able to get a hand around her back – but keeping talking soothingly and quietly.
