Ozzy/ Oz is a female green budgie, yellow head with grey stripes on it, and black feathered wings. A neighbourhood cat jumped on her cage while we brought her outside, opened it, and she flew away in a panic at about 7pm. We followed her around the block until it got dark, and started in the morning again. She never left our area, and knows that her mate (Nicky) is still in the cage since they were calling back and forth. We last saw her around 1:30pm on August 5, but a car backfired and we haven’t heard or seen her since. She is very tame but will not fly to people unless in trouble and doesn’t bite at all if caught, we’ve only seen her in tall trees, so she hasn’t come down yet. There is a blue jay or two in the area, so the quicker we can find her the better it is.
