Thanks for all the emails and phone calls, but the Farmington tiel is not ours. Please keep her in mind, though, as she looks like a sweet girl who wants her family back. I think we also had calls earlier in the week about her being sited in Hamburg–215-202 streets in Lakeville. Pass it on if you anyone else missing a bird in the area. And please call if you see any other cockatiels out there . . .

Lost Cockatiel Area of Cedar and 170th in Lakeville (Lakeville–Cedar and 170th)

If you have any information–know of anyone who found her and might have decided to keep her–please let us know.
Spirit was an unexpected hatching on the bottom of the cage. I hand raised her because her parents were clueless.
They didn’t even know eggs where supposed to hatch, much less how to care for a baby. They were afraid of of her.
We named her Spirit because she had to have a lot of spirit to survive and live to grow into a beautiful adult bird.
Spirit arrived in the middle of my husband’s very long illness. He was misdiagnosed with a terminal illness. She gave me
the strength and love to keep functioning and caring for my husband during those years I took care of him. Not only do we miss
her very much, but her cockatiel parents miss her too. The three of them are a tightly bonded flock. Casey and Becky
and have contined to act depressed.

We are looking for our lost cockatiel named Spirit. She is very friendly and likes people. She is pearled and pied–
the gray areas are over her neck, breast, and upper wings, with white spots. The rest of her coloration
is yellow. Please, please contact me if you think you may have seen her or have any information about her.
She is a precious member of our family and we are anxious to get her back.
