“Aussie” flew away from her New Providence home around 3pm on Sat., August 16th. She is a grey cockatiel with a crested head, orange cheek patches, dark grey plumage and white on her wings.
Cockatiels are powerful fliers – it’s possible she has made her way into your area. If you hear a very loud, shrill, insistent whistle in your yard, please look to see if it’s her. She will be lost and afraid, so call her name; but please don’t try to catch her…just call me, please.
Should she fly toward you,, don’t be afraid… Aussie is very friendly. Please offer her some bread and water in a dish. Just put them on the ground for her.
