Don’t give up hope. I lost two of my conures this week, and one was found when she (who may actually be a he, come to find out) flew into a business’ window and stunned herself. The women who found her have been very kind, in making sure that she was taken care of, and reaching out in different websites to make sure her family was found. The lady who made sure she had a clean cage and food, in particular, has been nothing short of god-send, a very wonderful lady who recently lost her own peach-front conure about a month ago. The conure was not lost in this area, but one never knows where the winds will take the lost.
I am hoping that someone has information about her peach-front, Cosmo. Cosmo needs to be back home — and it’s a very good home — with the family who loves that bird and is still looking for that bird.
I am not giving up hope that my cinnamon will be found, or that she has already been found and those who are caring for her just need to know we love her and are waiting to take her back home.
A special thank you to Parrot Alert. I had never heard of it before yesterday, but I will use it from now on to keep an eye out for other lost birds to pay it forward.
