Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help us find / return our beautiful young parakeet/budgie named Falcon. He flew out of his cage around 9AM during a water change and has been MIA since. 🙁 This picture was when he was still a baby but the only difference is that his cere (color of nose – nostrils) is a dark blue – indicating he is a boy!) and his beak is slightly darker tan than orange but he can also be identified by a patch of white just of center on the back of his little head. He’s smart and might step up on your fingers if offered – but I cannot be sure because I’m sure he’s terribly frightened. He’s normally very friendly, does not bite hard at all – he likes to nibble and he responds to chirpy coos of ‘Hello!’ and ‘Who’s my cute little BUD-GIE?’ Yes, we absolutely spoiled him rotten and he would perk up when he heard a cheery voice – usually female. He also might respond to ‘Little Daddy’ or ‘Chiquito Papa’ in spanish as he looks very much like his daddy. If anyone can PLEASE let us know if they know his whereabouts of if they have him we would be ETERNALLY GRATEFUL! He might need some medication as he was recently exposed to another bird who passed away this weekend we believe that’s probably why he escaped – thinking he left too. 🙁 He was heartbroken because it was his best friend.
Our daughter is absolutely heartbroken as he was her favorite. 🙁
