Pickles my African Jardine’s Parrot went missing from Whittemore Hill Road in Owego, Tioga County on June 2nd 2018. He escaped when we were transferring him from his carrier into a cage at the boarders. Pickles is green overall with dark wing and tail feathers. He also has a very small area of orange right above the beak.
He is a companion bird and enjoys fruit, vegetables and nuts. As a result, he might be hiding out in a fruit tree or garden. We will provide a reward for his return. Please contact us if you have sighted him.
