I  wanted to thank you for your encouragement, advice and kindness, and to let you know that we GOT HER BACK on Thursday night the 23rd. We did this with the help of the internet (Craigs List) and the kindness of strangers, much like yourself.

She was spotted 10 miles away from our home, when a kind person just picked her up (she was exhausted and hungry) and brought her to her local pet store. The Pet Store owner agreed to cage her until he could research who may have lost an African Grey. We were then contacted by several people who saw a flyer they put out saying that they had “found” a lost pet. By the time we got to the Pet Store to identify her and bring her home, the store owner had clipped her wings. She was so happy to see us, and probably couldn’t believe what she was seeing when we walked in. But now she seems a bit down in the dumps, with being flightless. Hopefully she will adapt.

I followed all your advice, and will get out and take all our flyers down, and let people know that we got her back, and be sure to thank EVERYONE for their support and kindness. I will also spend some time monitoring the Lost and Found on your site as well as others, to see if I can encourage, enlighten and perhaps …give back…to those who are missing their lost loves.

Thank you again,
Stephanie
