cheech is an african Grey with distinguishing markings. He has a red feathered neck. Went missing Friday night
around 10 PM. He had helped my husband assemble a Weber smoker. ( about 2′ wide and 3 1/2′ high-black).
When I was moving him from his outside cage to inside, I moved him over top of the smoker and he freaked! I had
to let him go because I was afraid that I would break his toe. He flew into a tree about 60′ from the house and moved
from one tree to another refusing to come down. He seemed to go higher each time he moved. Around 10 pm it was
very dark – we decided to stop and take it up the next day. At 5:30 the next morning we started again and continued
walking the woods and surrounding areas until around 4pm. Sunday spent the day circulating flyers showing his unusual characteristic – red neck feathers.
