My parakeet got out of his cage while I was cleaning it 2 days ago.  I live on South Crater Rd near Nannies Restaurant and the 301 exit of I-95 and South Crater Rd.  It is very young and not hand trained yet .  He has a bright yellow head and chest with green wings and back and his tail is green and yellow.  I have seen him flying in the area and am baiting him with his mate and food each day.  If anyone catches him or sights him roosting in the same place each night, please let me know.  I fear he can’t survive long alone in the wild.   Thanks for any help…

Comments:  Afraid of small children and cats   Loves bird toys that make noise. Vocalizes to teacup chihuahuas antics and barking.  His mate misses him.  Comfortable with doves as he was next to my doves cage  Loves a mirror- gets very vocal.  If you find him DO NOT put hin in a cage with other keets as he is aggressive with others except his mate.  I have spotted him twice in the area so think he stays closeby.  I hang his cage with his mate in a tree and keep feed and a big mirror on the shed roof.  Have heard him respond to his mates calls   Have setup an open cage with treats, food & water
