Lulu is a headstrong female African Grey (Congo). She’s very talkative and enjoys deconstructing most everything almost as she loves ice cream, bacon and her ‘cocktails’ (crushed ice and fruit juice). Very gregarious, she challenges the stereotype that greys are shy and ‘flighty’. Some favorite words are ‘redrum’, “hi bird”, “road trip”, “stop Lulu”. She attempts to whistle the “Andy Griffith Show” tune, but isn’t very good at it (don’t tell her). What ever you do don’t expose your favorite pen. As far as she’s concerned pens were created to be disassembled. You’ll have a fight on your hands once she’s secured one in her beak.

She took off yesterday morning. Spending most of the day in various trees on the property, she hasn’t been seen since last night. More than likely, she’ll drop down near a convenient human as soon as the novelty wears off and she gets hungry. A simple “step up” and she’ll mount your finger.
