My bird flew away 12/28/15. By this Christmas it will be 2 years. Chelly lived and loved Christmas. Daily “good morning”s became ” Merry Christmas” for at least a month before Christmas. He would also whistle various Christmas melodies. He would do “Sleigh ride” on request , with clopping horses feet at the start! He was my buddy. I have a thousand Chelly stories. After he flew away I placed ads in various local newspapers. “Frank” called and told me his friend had found Chelly. I was offering a $10000 reward but his friends wife would not part with my bird! Frank would call me about every 2 or 3 weeks to inform me as to the latest. I could never call him as his phone never worked. With his last phone call he told me that the woman was moving to Falls Church Va, He even offered to front $2000 of his own money that I would later repay. I told him not to as the bird might not be mine. That was a mistake. Frank knows who this woman is and he might be my best starting place.
