This is Poirot, named from the detective character created by Agatha Christie. He managed to get out of his travel cage earlier this evening in our back yard here in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He has molted, and refused to let his pinfeathers grow back, so his distinguished marking is his bald back underneath his wings. He can talk, and loves to laugh. My sister misses him terribly.
