Heartbreak over stolen parrot

Police seek assistence locating Luigi, a beloved pet stolen from Lismore.

THE distraught owner of a stolen parrot has appealed to the thieves to return her beloved bird.

Sarah Walker of DJs Pets in Keen Street said her pet parrot, Luigi, who had been hand-reared from birth, was stolen from a cage located at the rear of the store between 2pm yesterday and 9.30am today.

“I just need all the help I can get to find my Luigi, he will be fretting without me,” she said today.

“I am all he knows and I just want him home and safe!

“I love you Luigi and miss you so much.”

Lismore police have appealed for assistance locating the green Electus Parrot who is known to be well trained and obedient.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Lismore Police on 6626 0599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Information can be given anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
