Emel is a baby scarlet macaw that came into the family a year ago. She is a very sweet bird, and is very attached to me. Her cage has been outside for about a month or two, and this morning at about 8 am she opened the door where her water bowl is and got out. Then she perched on one of the chairs on the deck and started eating it, waiting for us to come outside. However, we were outside of the house at the time. Then, she flew away somewhere. We live near a park and are close to Rutherford and Nutley. When we got her, her wings were clipped, but they grew back since. Please help us find our bird, for we already notified the police and we are about to notify animal control as well. Thank you for your time.
